BMW X Diesel engines SUV Model Car

Initially, the BMW X6 is available in North America (now released in the UK) in two variants. The two twin-turbocharged engine. The top-the-line model is the xDrive50i V8 engine that uses 4.4-liter all-new twin-turbocharged. All new version of the engine s 550i/650i ‘(N62) is being used with twin turbo technology from the 135i/335i. It produces 408 PS (300 kW, 402 hp) between 5500 and 6400 rpm, and 600 N m (440 pounds · ft) of torque over the rpm range between 1800 and 4500. This is the first production turbocharged V8 engine in the world to feature its turbocharger between the ‘V’ in the middle of the two cylinder banks. Disposal and intake manifold are in the position of un-traditional – the engine intake and exhaust of the engine are directed to the outside of the ‘V’.

X6 xDrive35i models are powered by 3.0 liter N54 twin-engine turbocharged inline-six gasoline, producing 306 PS (225 kW, 302 hp) between 5800 and 6250 rpm and peak torque of 400 N m (300 lb ft ·) between 1400 and 5000 rpm. This machine also saw duty on the 1 Series, BMW 3 and 5.
Diesel engines

Two variants of diesel has been announced, and are expected to form as much as 90% of sales volume in European markets. The model is called xDrive30d and xDrive 35d, respectively. They are powered by BMW’s 3.0-liter turbodiesel (in sequential twin-turbocharged variant for xDrive35d), and produces 235 PS (173 kW) at 286 xDrive30d and PS (210 kW) version of xDrive 35d. Both of the electrical units will form the basis of the launch of the BMW Diesel in all 50 states in late-2008.
BMW X5 BMW X6 M and M is the first vehicle all-wheel-drive xDrive from M GmbH. This vehicle was inaugurated in 2009 New York Auto Show.

M high-performance derivative features twin coil version of the V8 twin-turbo 4.4-liter BMW N63 with a Cylinder-bank Comprehensive Manifold (CCM). Machines rated 555 PS (408 kW, 547 hp) at 6000 rpm and 680 N m (500 pounds · ft) at 1500-5650 rpm.

Other features include a 6-speed automatic transmission with M Sport aluminum pull-style paddles on the steering wheel, M Dynamic Mode feature, 10 mm (0.4 in) lower the Adaptive Drive suspension, 4-piston fixed calipers with 15.6 “rotor in front and single piston floating calipers with 15.2 “rotors in the rear, 20-inch alloy wheels 275/40R20 front and 315/35R20 tires went flat, special gills in front fenders, 20-inch light-alloy wheels.

Using the BMW “M TwinPower Turbo” unit with High Precision Direct Injection and twin turbochargers as a base, introduce new M engine twin-scroll turbocharger and patented twin exhaust manifold technology to increase thrust and attractive force, while maintaining the most compact dimensions possible. Two low-mass twin-scroll turbocharger together with a catalytic converter positioned in the “V” between the two cylinder banks. By reversing the flow of gas through the engine from the traditional arrangement, the intake and exhaust channels are shortened and widened. The result is that the pressure loss on the exhaust side is minimized.
